Today’s craft is a Christmassy knitted jumper, featuring a Christmas tree design. This jumper is sized to fit 14 inch dolls such as Glitter Girls and Wellie Wishers.
Materials:
Red 25g 4 Ply yarn
Green 25g 4 Ply yarn
2.75mm (No 12) & 3.25mm (No 10) needles

Knit in one Piece from the neck down
Using 2.75mm (No 12) needles cast on 34 sts with the red yarn, beginning at centre back
Next Row: Sl 1, Knit to end.
Repeat this row 3 times
Change to 3.25mm (No10) needles and begin yoke shaping

Next Row: Sl 1, Knit to end

Garter edge at bottom of jumper as follows
Knit 4 rows
Cast off
To Make Up
- Fasten off all ends
- Sew 2 or 3 snap fasteners on to button band
- Finally add embellishments such as sequins and you are finished!

As a teenager one of my most ‘uncool’ hobbies is to knit. I just love it so much though.

Same! I rarely mention knitting when people ask my hobbies as I don’t want to seem uncool, but the other year I knitted each of my friends matching penguins for Christmas and my whole class loved them!

Aww that’s a cute idea! I just finished a really chunky knit scarf. Haven’t yet ventured out into making things other than hats, scarfs and gloves lol xD
