Hello and welcome back to my blog!
I hope you are having a lovely Easter break! It’s super sunny here today and the tulips and daffodils are just starting to flower outside which is wonderful and I am just so excited for Spring.
Today I’ve got a quick and easy craft for you, perfect for some last-minute decorations to celebrate the season. Click here to download my free printable template.
Now you’ve got that printed, let’s hop to it and get crafting!
How to make quick & easy Paper Bunting:
1. Using scissors cut out the paper template
2. Draw around the template on your chosen paper and cut along the line. The paper I am using is from a pack called Spring Drop by First Edition Paper. It is 200gsm and 8″ x 8″ which is the perfect size and weight for this craft. I selected five papers from the pack which are double sided, which will make my bunting reversible which is so fun as I can change it up more easily and use it again year after year and still make it a little different if I want to.
3. Decorate however you would like! Why not try adding fluffy pom-poms for bunny tails, or glitter to add some sparkle or some fun doodles? I’ve decided to leave mine plain this time as my paper is very patterned, however I may come back and update them a little in the future with some little fluffy bunny tails.
4. Hole punch at the top of each bunny ear, thread some ribbon or string through the holes and you are finished!
I hope you enjoyed today’s craft! Let me know in the comments below, I’m curious to know, do you have any Easter traditions and what is your favourite thing about Spring?
Don’t forget to check out my stop-motion tutorial for this craft! You can find it on Instagram Reels and TikTok on @princessemily_m
I’m currently aiming to continue posting weekly, on Saturdays at 4pm GMT, with a mixture of craft, sewing and knitting tutorials, book reviews, baking recipes and more
Stay safe and best wishes,
