Thankful Friday; What I’m Grateful For

When times are tough, and everything seems to be going wrong, it can be hard not to focus on the negatives. A great solution to turn your thoughts around is to practise gratitude. Just take a few quiet minutes and think of all the things you are grateful for, the little things, the big things and everything in between.

Here are some of the things I am grateful for today:

  1. I have another day full of opportunities and possibilities.
  2. I have a house, a warm, safe place to live.
  3. My family & friends, who love me, and I can talk to them anytime I need them 💛
  4. The weather is nice and it’s sunny outside.
  5. I have a garden full of spring flowers.
  6. I have running water to drink and keep clean.
  7. Wi-Fi & electricity, so I can stay connected, video chat, use social media and play games such as Sims 4.
  8. I have shelves of books to read, or re-read.
  9. A box full of craft supplies to get creative.
  10. A camera to capture memories and experiment with photography.
  11. Music, I love to sing and dance 😊

  3. Such a good post! it’s very important to be aware of what we’re grateful for in times like these, as it is very easy to get swept up in all the negative news and think we have nothing. I’m grateful for having WiFi and a laptop so I can contact friends, watch Netflix and post on my socials to stay connected! xx
